Privacy Policy

This policy applies only to the Google Play version of Giftly and its account, gameplay, purchase, and social features. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described here.

• Account information. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your Google account identifier, Google display name and profile photo, or a Giftly guest nickname. Authentication credentials are stored as secure hashes where applicable.
• Gameplay information. We store your inventory, case openings, gift attributes, collections, album selections, equipped gift, achievements, tutorial progress, daily rewards, balances, and the dates associated with these actions.
• Purchase information. We store product and order details, amount, status, Google Play transaction identifiers, and purchase entitlement. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing, and Giftly does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Information stored on your device. Giftly uses local storage and session storage for sign-in sessions, guest credentials, interface preferences, tutorial state, cached inventory, personal collection state, and pending payment state. These technologies are necessary for app functionality and are not used for advertising.
• Support information. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

We use information to:

• create and authenticate accounts and restore progress across supported devices;
• operate gameplay, inventories, leaderboards, achievements, rewards, and sharing;
• process purchases, confirm entitlements, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions;
• maintain security, diagnose failures, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

Giftly does not use advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information.

We share information only as needed to operate Giftly:

• Google provides Google Sign-In and Google Play Billing. Google receives the information required to authenticate you and process purchases.
• Infrastructure providers host the website, API, database, and static game assets and process information on our behalf to provide the service.
• Legal and safety disclosures may occur when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend Giftly's rights.

Giftly includes social features. Your Giftly display name, avatar, leaderboard score, equipped gift, inventory items, and recent gift drops may be visible to other players. If you create a gift-sharing link, anyone with that link may view the shared gift and the associated public profile information. Do not use a nickname that reveals information you do not want others to see.

We keep account and gameplay records while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide Giftly, maintain purchase records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Some purchase records may need to be retained after account deletion. Google sessions have an expiration date; device-stored information remains until it expires, is cleared by Giftly, or you clear the app's data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Giftly account and personal information through the contact method below. Include your Giftly nickname and the sign-in method you use so we can verify the request. Deleting the app alone does not delete server-side account records.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including provider-verified authentication, hashed session or guest credentials, and access controls. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Giftly is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Giftly and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. We take reasonable steps to protect information as described in this policy.

We may update this policy when Giftly's features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
